Delores A. Hendrick-
son, 85, Minot, died
Thursday, March 11, 2021
in her home.
Delores Ann Stavem
was born on December 10,
1935 to Herman and Ser-
ine (Ronnestad) Stavem
on the family farm in rur-
al Mohall, ND where she
was raised and educated.
She was once married
to Elmer Blowers. Out of
this union there were five
children. On June 14,
1985 she was united in
marriage to Dale Hen-
drickson. They made their
home in Minot for several
years. Dale passed away
in 1995. Following the
flood in 2011, she moved
to Bottineau and later re-
located to Minot.
She worked for over 20
years as a custodian for
Minot State University
where she won numerous
awards and a reputation
for being a hard worker.
She also ran a grocery
store with her husband
Dale in Velva for several
years. She was an avid
poet, having her work
published in several
books, as well as publish-
ing several poem books
herself.
In 2017, she moved to
San Antonio, TX where
she lived with her
daughter and son-in-law.
In 2018, she moved back
to Minot into Edgewood
Vista Assisted Living. In
2020, she moved to Edge-
wood Vista Memory Care
and then in late 2020 to
Edgewood Vista Hospice
Care. She passed into the
pearly gates there on
March 11, 2021.
Delores is survived by:
children, Gary Blowers
(Debbie), Veronica Daly
(Lester), Greg Blowers;
and daughter-in-law Dan-
ny Blowers. Numerous
grandchildren,
great-grandchildren,
great-great grandchildren,
nieces, nephews and
cousins also survive.
Delores is preceded in
death by: her parents,
husbands Elmer Blowers
and Dale Hendrickson,
son Galen Blowers, infant
daughter and brothers,
Gary and Donald Stavem.
Visitation: Tuesday,
March 16, 2021 from 3:00
to 5:00 pm at
Thompson-Larson Fun-
eral Home, Minot, with a
prayer service at 5 in the
chapel.
Graveside Memorial
Service: Wednesday,
March 17, 2021 at 11:00
am at Rosehill Memorial
Park, Minot.
Delores' Family asks
that donations be made in
honor of Delores Hen-
drickson to Edgewood
Vista or Edgewood Vista
Memory Care in lieu of
flowers.
