Leo Jundt

Leo Jundt, 92, Minot,
ND, passed away Satur-
day, February 20, 2021, in
his home surrounded by
his loving family.
Leo was born May 17,
1928, the son of John and
Stephina (Voeller) Jundt,
in Rugby, ND. He was
raised and educated in
Rugby until the age of 10.
He then moved with his
family to a farm by Fulda,
ND, where he attended a
country school in the
area.
Leo married Ramona
Schell October 19, 1954,
at the St. Anselm Catholic
Church in Fulda, ND.
They made their home in
Minot, where together
they raised their five chil-
dren. Leo worked at a lo-
cal business and retired in
1988, after 30 years. He
loved every minute of his
retirement.
He was one of the
founding members of Our
Lady of Grace Catholic
Church in Minot.
Leo and Ramona loved
to travel and they visited
49 of the 50 states. He also
loved going on drives
with his brother, Peter,
visiting area construction
projects and always fin-
ishing with pie and coffee.
He was a great polka
dancer and enjoyed many
Saturday nights at the
Moose Lodge. He also
loved playing cards with
his children and
grandchildren.
Leo’s family would like

Leo.

Leo was preceded in
death by: his parents;
brothers, John, Roy and
Peter Jundt; and sister,
Mary Burckhard.
