Clayton Korgel

April 24, 1937-Sept. 18, 2020

Clayton Clarence Kor-

gel, 83, died peacefully in

hospice care in Dallas,

Texas. Clayton was a gra-

duate of Minot Model

High School.

He was preceded in

death by: his wife Barbara

Korgel and sister Beverly

Olson.

Clayton is survived by:

his 2 children, 5

grandchildren, and sister

Betty LaViolette.

He was a Navy veteran

and electrical engineer

working on many high

clearance projects for the

U.S. defense industry. He

loved his Model High

reunions and will be

missed my many of his

old classmates including

Mel Opstad and Joe

Lemke. He loved skiing

and his daily trips to the

gym, talked fondly of his

Minot Teacher's College

days, and was always

smiling.

He was a caring hus-

band, supportive father,

and dear friend. He is

missed.
