Adeline Olson, 87,

Minot, died Friday, Janu-

ary 8, 2021 in a Minot

nursing home.

Adeline Lade was born

on May 26, 1933, a

daughter of Carl and Ora

(Bittner) Lade in Minot,

ND. She was raised and

educated in the Minot

area.

Adeline was united in

marriage to LeRoy

“Sonny” Olson in October

29, 1952, at St. Paul Luth-

eran Church in Minot.

They made their home on

a farm near Plaza, ND, un-

til 1954, when they

moved to Minot, where

they raised their four chil-

dren. Adeline also worked

for White Drug for 36

years prior to her retire-

ment. LeRoy passed away

on January 18, 2015. Fol-

lowing his death, she con-

tinued to live in Minot.

She enjoyed crocheting,

knitting, camping and

fishing. She was a loving

wife, mother, grandmoth-

er, sister and friend and

will be missed by all that

knew her. Adeline was a

member of Zion Lutheran

Church, Minot.

Adeline is survived by:

daughter, Charlotte Hut-

ton and her companion,

Stan Tranby; sons, Gor-

don (Kim) Olson, and

Gerald Olson; grandchil-

dren, Tonya (Chad) Es-

linger, and Chad (Sarah)

Olson;

great-grandchildren, Shel-

by and Sheldon Eslinger,

and Emma, Kayden, Halle

Olson; siblings: Cecil

Lade, and Ellen (Donald)

Aldentaler; along with

many nieces and

nephews.

She was preceded in

death by: her parents;

husband Leroy “Sonny”

Olson, son, Gaylen;

grandson, Cory Olson, sis-

ter Sandra Olson, brother

Marvin Lade, and stepfa-

ther Lawrence Nelson.

Visitation: There will be

no reviewal, as cremation

has taken place, however,

friends may sign a guest

register on Thursday,

January 21, 2021 one hour

prior to the service at the

church.

Memorial Service:

Thursday, January 21,

2021 at 11 a.m. at Zion

Lutheran Church, Minot.

lowed.
