Tressa M. Kulig, age 93,

Minot, ND, formerly of

Carnegie, PA, passed

away Thursday, No-

vember 12, 2020, at Trini-

ty Homes in Minot.

Tressa Marie Salvato

was born May 6, 1927, the

daughter of Joseph and

Adeline (Tranchini) Sal-

vato, in Carnegie, PA.

On June 30, 1947, she

was united in marriage to

Walter “Fuzzy” Kulig. To-

gether through those 42

years, they raised 3 sons,

Tony, Walter, and David.

Fuzzy passed away in

1989.

Together, they loved

traveling to Minot to see

their grandchildren,

whether by bus, plane, or

train, a lot of time unan-

nounced (surprise). After

Fuzzy’s passing, Tressa

moved to Minot to be

closer to family. She was

a great cook and loved to

put together all those Itali-

an meals for her family

and never did a guest

come to her home and not

have a taste of her cooking

or sweet treats. She loved

her grandchildren, her

faith, her friends, and of

course, Bingo!

Her loving family in-

cludes: son, Walter

(Carole) Kulig; daughter-

in-law, Marla Ludwig Ku-

lig; grandchildren, Chris-

topher Kulig, Curtis-Ross

Kulig, Anthony (Kelly

Smith) Kulig, Keli (Matt)

Kramer, Gage (Lisa Delvo)

Kulig; great- grandchil-dren, Klay and Cy Kulig

and Luca Kramer;

sister-in-law, Sandy (An-

thony) Salvato; and

numerous nieces and

nephews.

Tressa was preceded in

death by father, Joseph

Salvato; mother, Adeline

Salvato; husband, Walter

(Fuzzy) Kulig; sons, David

and Anthony “Tony” Ku-

lig; sisters, Lucy (Ernie)

Spotti and Ninnette

(Frank) Kolodziejczyk;

brothers, Philip “Cy”

(Vicky) Salvato, Albert

Salvato and Anthony Sal-

vato; niece, Erlene (Bill)

Dowd; and great nephew,

Anthony Salvato.
