Monday, November 9,

2020 at St. Aloisius Hos-

pital in Harvey. A private

service will be held Satur-

day, November 14 at

10:30 A.M. at St.

Francis-Xavier Catholic

Church in Anamoose with

burial in the church

cemetery. This service

will be livestreamed on

Sally Anne Kuntz,

daughter of Peter and Sa-

die (Nagel) Kuntz, was

born March 19, 1937 at

Flasher. She grew up in

Raleigh where she began

her education. Later, she

attended rural school in

Lark and St. Gertrude in

Raleigh. In 1948, the fam-

ily moved to Flasher

where Sally graduated

from high school in 1955.

She attended Dickinson

State College from 1955 to

1956, receiving a Rural

School Teaching Certifi-

cate. Sally taught rural

schools in the Flasher

area and also in St. Ger-

trude. In 1960, she re-

ceived a Standard Teach-

ing Certificate from Dic-

kinson State College. She

then taught in Mandan

and later in Harvey.

On July 24, 1965 Sally

was united in marriage to

Marvin Stotz in Mott.

While raising 6 children,

she did substitute teach-

ing and taught CCD. In

1988 she returned to col-

lege, receiving her B.S.

degree from Minot State

University in 1990. She

worked as a Title 1 assis-

tant from 2001 to 2014 in

the Drake-Anamoose

schools, retiring in 2014.

Sally enjoyed watching

old movies, sewing, read-

ing, doing crossword puz-

zles, playing cards and

crafting with her

grandchildren.

She is survived by her

children, Diane (Gaylord)

Hibl of Jamestown, Donna

(Kelly) Kohler of

Bismarck, Claudia (Gary)

Segura of Albuquerque,

NM, Douglas (Melissa)

Stotz of West Fargo,

Duane Stotz of Anamoose

and Rhonda Weninger of

Velva; 10 grandchildren:

Leslie (Isaac) Erickson,

Chase and Lauryn Hibl,

Andrew, Alexis and Ryan

Kohler, Kaley and Kelby

Stotz, and Sadie and Rylie

Weninger; siblings,

Dorothy Peterson of

Bismarck, Marlene

Hellman of Princeton,

MN, Frances (Dale) Hardy

of Arizona and John

Kuntz of Bismarck; and

numerous nieces and

nephews.

Sally was preceded in

death by her husband,

Marvin on February 3,

2018; her parents, Peter

and Sadie Kuntz;

parents-in-law, William

and Lenora Stotz; brother

and sister-in-law, Marvin

and Marlene Kuntz;

sister-in-law and

brother-in-law, Janice and

David Muscha and

nephew, Stacy Muscha.
