USAF, Ret, 67, Minot died
on Tuesday, November
17, 2020 in a Minot hospi-
tal.
Robert Bryant “Bob”
Warath was born on June
5, 1953 in Fayetteville,
North Carolina to Neil
Bryant and Bernice Leola
(Wyne) Warath. He was
raised in Fayetteville and
Salt Lake City where he
attended school. He at-
tained his G.E.D. during
his military service. Bob
married Nora Pruiett on
March 30, 1970. They
made their home at vari-
ous Air Force bases
throughout the world.
Bob enlisted in the Un-
ited States Air Force on
October 4, 1971 and
served as a Missile Facili-
ty Manager for six years,
Fabrication and Parachute
Craftsman for ten years
and Packing and Crating
Technician for eight
years. He was stationed at
many Air Force bases
throughout the world in-
cluding Minot AFB,
where he was the Supply
Supervisor for the 5th
Munitions Squadron.
He received his honor-
able discharge as a Senior
Master Sergeant on Oc-
tober 31, 1995. During his
military service he re-
ceived the AF Achieve-
ment Medal, AF Commen-dation Medal, Vietnam
Service Medal, AF Train-
ing Ribbon, AF Overseas
Short Tour Ribbon, AF
Overseas Long Tour Rib-
bon, National Defense
Service Medal w/1 Device,
AF Longevity Service
Award w/ 5 Devices, NCO
Professional Military Edu-
cation Ribbon, Small
Arms Expert Marksman-
ship ribbon/Rifle, AF Out-

ices. Bob was very pas-
sionate about his service
to the United States Air
Force and was a very
proud and patriotic ci-
tizen.
Following his retire-
ment he was employed as
a civilian employee at
MAFB and at Menard’s
and various Minot hotels
as a custodial engineer.
Bob was a member of
Our Lady of Grace Cathol-
ic Church – Minot and
especially enjoyed fishing,
hunting, carpentry, wood-
working and was a Mr.
Fix-it. Most importantly,
he was so proud to be
“Papa to his beloved
granddaughters: Abigail
and Evelyn.
Robert’s loving family

Minot; grandchildren:
Abigail and Evelyn; si-
blings: Marsha (Kevin)

Danny (Julie) Warath and

Salisbury both of Salt
Lake City Utah.
Bob was preceded in
death by his parents.
