Eunice Hubrig

1927-2020

Eunice Joyce Hubrig,

93, Minot, ND, passed

away Sunday, November

8, 2020, at Trinity Homes

in Minot.

Eunice was born to Alf

& Ella Wibe, June 3, 1927.

The family lived on a

farm in Rollag, MN until

1941 when they moved to

Barnesville, MN where

she attended High School

and worked picking pota-

toes. After graduation she

was proud to work at the

telephone company as an

operator. She married

Sylvan Hubrig. In 1955

they moved to Minot, ND

where she raised six chil-

dren from their marriage.

Eunice lived for many

years on the corner of

23rd Street where she

made lifelong friendships

with her neighbors.

Baptized and later con-

firmed on September 15,

1940 at the Rollag Luth-

eran Church, Eunice con-

tinued to mold her deep

faith through her devotion

at St Mark’s Lutheran

Church in Minot in Circle

groups, preparing com-

munion and helping with

various church events.

Eunice is survived by

her children, Kay (Darrell)

Linnertz, Vicki (Marc)

Riske, Rocky (Sheila)

Hubrig, Kevin (Cynde)

Hubrig, and Karen

(William) Hennessy. She

is also survived by

grandchildren: Heather

Bauer, Illya Riske, Sarah

Scherr, Travis Hubrig,

Tracy Hubrig, Amanda

Riske, Emily Eddy, Adam

Flynn, Melissa Keller,

Makenzie Quintus, Kelsey

Brown, Luke Hennessy

and Cassie Young, 13

great-grandchildren as

well as several nieces and

nephews.

Preceding her in death

were her parents, son,

Myles Hubrig, and

siblings, Mary Ellen,

Russell, Victor, Myron,

Walter, Terry Wibe, and

Sally Braton.

Mark’s Lutheran Church

in Minot, ND. Due to the

A Public Graveside

Service will be held on

Thursday, November 12,

2020, at 1:15 pm at

Rosehill Memorial Park,

Minot, ND. Due to the

Coronavirus Pandemic,

please observe social dis-

tancing.

Memorials: In lieu of

flowers, memorial are pre-

ferred to St. Mark’s Luth-

eran Church, Minot, St.

Jude’s Children’s Hospital

or donor’s choice. .
