traditional hymns from
his childhood along with
a blend of old gospel
tunes that he had
rediscovered. His signature song was “It Is No
Secret.”
Dan is survived by
three cousins and their
families: Jane Haaland
Nelson (Craig) Metigoshe,

Dan preferred any
memorials to be directed
to The Seeing Eye, Inc. of
Morristown, New Jersey,
in lieu of flowers.
Due to COVID restrictions a private family service will be held at a later
date. A springtime interment is planned at the
Carpio Lutheran Cemetery
in Carpio, North Dakota,
where he will be laid to
rest next to his mother
and father.
