MOHALL – Dorothy
Virginia Bohm, 95, Minot,
formerly of Mohall, died
Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020,
at a Minot hospital.
She was born Sept. 7,
1925, near Sherwood, to
R. Hayes and Augusta
(Schulte) Stewart. She be-
gan her education at Eden
Valley School until it
closed in 1941. She gra-
duated from Mohall High
School in 1943. She was
then employed by
Trutna’s Department
Store in Mohall.
Dorothy was united in
marriage to Didrik “Dick”
Bohm on Dec. 31, 1949.
They lived and farmed in
Hurley Township, rural
Mohall, until moving to
Kent, Wash., where Dick
was employed by Boeing
Company. They returned
to the Mohall area in 1970
and resumed farming.
They retired in 1987.
They enjoyed traveling,
camping and fishing at
Van Hook, where they
made many new friends,
and enjoyed lots of pi-
nochle games. Dick died
April 17, 1999.
Dorothy was a member
of Zion Lutheran Church,
Mohall, and a charter
member of the Altar
Guild, taught Sunday
school and was active in
the church women’s or-
ganizations.
In 1994, she was ap-
pointed as a consumer
member of the North
Dakota State Examining
Committee for Physical
Therapists, serving until
2001.
In 2003, she moved to
Minot. She enjoyed
volunteer work, reading,
politics and was a Min-
nesota Twins fan. She at-
tended Christ Lutheran
Church, Minot, but kept
her membership at Zion
Lutheran Church, Mohall.
Family: brothers,
Donald Stewart, Sher-
wood, and William (Avis)
Stewart, Souris;
sister-in-law, Betty
Stewart, Minot; and
numerous nieces and
nephews.
Dorothy was preceded
in death by: parents; hus-
band, Didrik; son, Douglas
Bohm; sister, Ada R. Han-
son; brothers, Wayne,
Vernon D., Berl K. and
Robert Stewart; and
sisters-in-law, Byrle
Stewart and Lyla Stewart.
Funeral: 10 a.m.,
Wednesday, Nov. 25,
2020, at Zion Lutheran
Church, Mohall. A link to

Burial: Mohall Com-
munity Cemetery, Mohall.
Visitation: 2 to 6 p.m.,
Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020, at
