Evelyn Knopfle, 93,

Minot, ND passed away

Tuesday, October 7, 2020,

at Trinity Hospital in

Minot.

Evelyn was born in

Blackwater Township,

ND, December 16, 1926,

to Fred and Martha

(Warnke) Kerzmann. She

was raised and educated

in a rural school west of

Garrison, ND and graduat-ed from Garrison High

School. She continued her

education at Minot Busi-

ness College.

She was employed at

Western Auto Parts and

later joined Holmes Elec-

tric both in Minot. She be-

came a partner in the

business and remained

there until the business

was sold.

Upon moving to Minot,

Evelyn met Lucille Parker

and they became room-

mates and their friendship

continued until Evelyn’s

passing.

After many years of

courtship, she married

Herbert “Red” Knopfle at

Little Flower Catholic

Church.

Evelyn was a faithful

member of Little Flower

Catholic Church and a

member of other organiza-tions including the auxi-

liaries at the American Le-

gion, the Moose Club and

the Eagles.

Anyone that met Evelyn

always became her friend.

Evelyn was preceded in

death by: her husband,

Herbert; parents; her eight

siblings, Andrew M.

Kerzmann, John C.

Kerzmann, Fred

Kerzmann, Jr., Marie

Langer, Louise Kerzmann,

Georgette Iverson,

Dorothy Karlson and Eu-

gen Kerzmann; nephews,

Dennis Langer, Wilford

“Butch” Kerzmann and

Arlys Kerzmann; and

nieces, Jeanette Kerzmann

and Diane Resnick.

Mass of Christian Buri-

al: will be held in early

summer of 2021 at Little

Flower Catholic Church,

Minot.

Interment: Rosehill

Memorial Park, Minot,

ND.

Memorials: In lieu of

flowers, memorials are

preferred to Nursing
