Robert Wimer

away 9/14 from cancer

under hospice care in

Florida. He was sur-

rounded by his family.

Bob was born in Staun-

ton, Va but moved to Car-

lisle, Pa where he graduat-ed from high school. He

joined the Air Force and

was stationed at MAFB

and the Philippines being

discharged in 1969.

He started working for

Diamonds Department

store before opening his

own R Allen’s located at

Arrowhead and then

Town and Country

Center.

While in Minot he was

a member of the Lions

Club and past president of

the Eagles Club.

His favorite thing was

to work at the E7 Ranch

with his father-in-law Ben

Eckert. In later years he

enjoyed just going there to

mow.

In 1987 he started

working for Vanity and

then JC Penney in Fargo.

He retired in 2011.

He and his wife win-

tered in Florida where he

enjoyed his favorite past

time. Golf.

He is survived by: his

wife of 52 years, Trudy,

his children Denise (Ja-

son) Dellwo, Florida and

Nick (Shauna) Wimer,

West Fargo. Grandchil-

dren Hayley Dellwo ,

whom he shared his birth-

day with, and. Charles

Wimer. Marianna

McCauley, sister, and

brothers Dwight and

Glenn. And many nieces

and nephews.

He is preceded in death

by: granddaughter Baby

Girl Wimer, his parents

and in-laws.
