Dolores Roedocker-

Boozenny, 89, Minot, ND,

formerly of Max, ND,

passed away Sunday, July

26, 2020 at a Minot care

center.

Dolores Elaine Burns

was born on July 10, 1931

in Brandon, Manitoba to

Robert and Minnie

(Smith) Burns. She was

raised in Maxbass, ND

where she attended

school and graduated

from Maxbass High

School.

Dolores married Donald

Roedocker on July 12,

1953. They lived in

Minot, ND until 1956,

while Don finished

Teacher’s College. They

then moved to Max, ND

when Don began teaching

at the High School there.

Dolores was a stay at

home Mom to their four

children. Don died on

March 19, 1979.

She married Raleigh

Boozenny in 1983 and he

died in 1985. Dolores con-

tinued to reside in Max

until 2017. She had many

dear friends that lent their

hearts and hands to her so

she could stay in her

home for several years.

She was a member of Our

Savior Lutheran Church

of Max. Dolores has been

residing at ProHealth As-

sisted Living in Minot for

the past three years.

Dolores’s loving family

includes: Her children,

Richard (Corlis) Roedock-er, Billings, MT, Jeff

(Brenda) Roedocker,

Minot, Sandra Roedocker,

Milbank, SD and David

(Carmen) Roedocker,

Minot; 10 grandchildren;

13 great-grandchildren;

and 1 great-great

grandchild; sister,

Dorothy Kjera, Maxbass;

and several nephews and

nieces.

Dolores was preceded

in death by her parents;

her husbands; and broth-

ers, Robert and James.

Memorial Service:

Tuesday, August 4, 2020,

at 11:00 a.m. at Our Sa-

vior Lutheran Church,

Max, ND.

Inurnment: Zion Luth-

eran Cemetery, Max, ND.

Visitation: There will be

no reviewal as cremation

has taken place, however

friends are invited to sign

the guest register book

Monday from 3 to 5 p.m.

at Thompson-Larson Fun-

eral Home, Minot, ND.

Covid-19 guidelines will

be observed.

Memorials: are pre-

ferred to the Max High

School Donald L.

Roedocker Gymnasium.
