Marilyn Hutton
April 23, 1933-July 23, 2020
Marilyn Kidder Hutton
was born April 23, 1933,
in Towner, ND, to Arlene
and Merle Kidder. Mari-
lyn passed away in Wheat
Ridge, Colorado, on July
23, 2020.
After graduating from
Towner High School, she
attended Trinity Nursing
School where she graduat-ed as a Registered nurse.
After graduation, her
hometown love, Buddy
Hutton, asked her to mar-
ry him. They started their
marriage in Houston, Tex-
as, where Bud served in
the Air Force. That is
where Marilyn started her
career as a nurse. The Air
Force soon took Marilyn
and Bud to Denver,
Colorado. They welcomed
their first born,
Alice-Arlene “Tudy” Hut-
ton Krom while stationed
at Fitzsimons base in
Denver, Colorado.
At the end of Bud’s
career in the Air Force, he
and Marilyn decided to
come back home to raise
their family and start a
business. They purchased
the Towner Lumber Yard
and sold move-away
homes. During this time,
they had two more chil-
dren, Mark and Marilee.
They sold the lumberyard
in 1971 and purchased
TH Vickars Company in
1969. This became Hutton
Contracting.
Marilyn was active in
the Zion Lutheran Sunday
School program, Red
Hats, Darners, and Girl
Scouts. Her passion for
caring for people and
sharing her light with all
is one of the many ways
that she will be remem-
bered.

nephews survive her:

“Tudy” Krom and hus-
band Tom Krom, Stras-
burg, CO. Son, Mark Hut-
