passed away peacefully

on June 30, 2020, at a

Minot hospital.

Ken was born March 6,

1935, in Eden Valley

Township, Renville Coun-

ty, to Bill and Betty

(Wenker) Hefter.

Ken married Patricia

Gates on Feb. 5, 1955. Ken

and Pat farmed and lived

in Sherwood all their mar-

ried life. They wintered in

Lake Havasu City, Ariz.,

for many years.

Family: wife of 65

years, Pat; children,

JoAnn (Bill) Coutts, Glen-

dale, Ariz., Janet Sandeen,

Stanley, and Jeff (Jennifer)

Hefter, Sherwood;

grandchildren, Jennifer

Ken was preceded in

death by: his parents;

brother, Gene Hefter; and

son-in-law, Paul Sandeen.
