passed away Monday,

June 22, 2020, at Eventide

Nursing Home, James-

town.

A private Graveside

Service will be held at the

Veterans Cemetery Man-

dan, ND on Tuesday, June

30, 2020.

Inurnment will be in

the North Dakota Veterans

Cemetery, Mandan.

Scott was born No-

vember 9, 1962, at Minot,

North Dakota, to John and

Audrey (Hanson) Morris-

on. He was raised and

educated in Granville,

North Dakota. After gra-

duation he went to basic

training for the Army Na-

tional Guard at Ft. Dix

N.J. Scott served with the

Army National Guard for

two years before joining

the Army full time. His

first duty assignment was

Ft. Riley where he served

with the 1st Infantry divi-

sion 2/5 field artillery

unit. From there he was

assigned to Neu-U/M Ger-

many where he as a

courier hauling personnel

and transporting prison-

ers, and other missions all

over Germany.

There Scott met and

married Patricia Gugler in

Copenhagen Demark.

Scott was then stationed

in Ft. Hood where he was

the driver for two com-

pany commanders. Scott

then was stationed in Ft.

Carson Colorado where he

drove for three other com-

manders. While in Colora

do Scott left the military

with the rank of Sgt. then

started his career in con-

struction driving a con-

crete truck. Scott moved

back North Dakota in

1996 where he worked in

the concrete construction

business for the

remainder of his life.

Scott enjoyed being in

the military, working con-

struction, fishing, NAS-

CAR, and as a lifelong

Kansas City Chiefs fan en-

joyed watching them win

the Superbowl this year.

He also enjoyed visiting

with friends at local gath-

ering places and always

supported the local law

enforcement.

He is survived by: his

parents, Jack and Audrey

(Hanson) Morrison, broth-

er Stuart Morrison

nephew Logan Morrison

and niece Riley Morrison,

brother Steve Morrison,

Sister Sherry (Morrison)

Travis Olson niece Soren

Olson, and two children.

Scott was preceded in

death by: paternal and

maternal grandparents

and several aunts and un-

cles.
