Kirk R. Elm, 35, Minot,

died unexpectedly Thurs-

day, June 11, 2020 in his

home.

Kirksten Robert Elm

was born on February 13,

1985, a son of Michael

and Deena (Wald) Elm in

Devils Lake, ND. He was

raised and educated in

Minot, where he attended

and graduated from

Bishop Ryan High School

in 2003. He furthered his

education by attending

UND, Grand Forks, ND.

Kirk held various posi-

tions throughout his life-

time, including the Minot

Country Club as a

groundskeeper, Materials

Testing Services, CTI, bar-

tender at Ground Round,

Side Kicks, Elevation, and

most recently at Aces

Lounge and Casino.

Kirk enjoyed spending

time with his son, Aidan.

He also enjoyed playing

golf, fishing, a good game

of pool and looked for-

ward to his league night.

He appreciated music

which he expressed with

playing his guitar and

singing. He could make

up songs with very little

effort and enjoyed har-

monizing with his si-

blings. He was known for

his large heart and his

sense of humor, making

people laugh brought him

joy. He was a loving fa-

ther, son, brother, and

friend and will be missed

by all that knew him.

He is survived by:

Kirk was preceded in

death by grandparents

will be observing Co-

held at St. John the Apos-

tle Catholic Church,

Minot, on Tuesday, June

16, 2020 at 10:30 am.

Memorial Park in Minot.
