Jeffrey Stemen

Jeffrey Arnold Stemen

was born in Minot, ND on

May 14, 1964 to Myron

and Carol (Luke) Stemen.

He went to Burlington

Elementary and graduated

from Des Lacs High

School in 1982. He at-

tended Minot State Col-

lege and received a BS De-

gree in Business Manage-

ment and Finance in

1986.

Jeff moved to Texas in

1987 and went to work at

Ramada Inn. For the past

19 years he worked at

Texas Health Systems. Jeff

was an avid animal lover

and had taken care of

many cats and dogs. His

current family were his

pets Rudy and Annie.

They absolutely adored

Jeff and he was devoted to

them. Jeff also had a dog

named Jessie who was in-

volved in Paws across

Texas and they had many

adventures together.

Nobody had a bigger

heart than Jeff. He was al-

ways willing to step up

and help whoever was in

need and see that things

got done. His quick wit

was always good for a

laugh and he will be

missed by all.

Jeff is survived by: his

mother, Carol Stemen; sis-

ters, Shelly (John) Lau-

inger and Sharon (Steve)

Morgans; nephews and

nieces, Lance Lauinger,

Cole Lauinger, Sara

(Chase) O’Connor, Ryan

Morgans, Noah Morgans,

Jacob Morgans and Eliza-

beth Morgans; and several

aunts, uncles, and

cousins.

Jeff was preceded in

death by his father,

Myron Stemen; infant

brother, Mark; and

grandparents, Ken and

Mae Luke and Leo and

Burnadeen Stemen.

Private Memorial Mass

of Christian Burial: Tues-

day, May 26, 2020, at

10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of

Grace Catholic Church,

Minot, ND. The service
