SHERWOOD – Shari

Lenore Fry, 58, Bottineau,

formerly of Sherwood,

died Saturday, Feb. 22,

2020, at a Minot hospital.

She was born July 27,

1961, in Mohall, a

daughter of Leroy and

Jean (Southam) Nelson.

She was raised on the

family farm near Sher-

wood and graduated from

Sherwood High School in

1979. She attended three

years at U.N.D. and one

year at N.D.S.U. where

she graduated with a

bachelor’s degree in

dietetics.

She raised her three

daughters in Yuma, Ariz.,

and worked at a hospital

in Yuma. They recently

returned to North Dakota,

the land where her heart

always was.

Shari and Dennis loved

traveling, camping, going

on day-trips, and being a

grandma. She was very

proud of her family. She

was a voracious reader,

enjoyed her quiet time,

junk and antiques shop-

ping and spending time

with her best friend,

Dennis.

Shari was preceded in

death by: her father,

Leroy Nelson; brother,

Jody Nelson; cousins,

Craig Keith, Blaine Sout-

ham and Bonnie Snyder;

maternal grandparents,

Estelle and George Sout-

ham; and paternal

grandparents, Alvin and

Helen Nelson.

Funeral: 10:30 a.m., Fri-

day, Feb. 28, 2020, at St.

James Catholic Church,

Sherwood.

Burial: Sherwood Un-

ion Cemetery, Sherwood,

in the spring.

Recitation of the

Rosary: 3:30 p.m., Thurs-

day, Feb. 27, 2020, at the

church.

Visitation: noon to 3:30

p.m., Thursday, at St.

James Catholic Church,

Sherwood.
