Don Susak

Donovan James Susak,

born October 3, 1935 to

parents John and Alice

Susak in Minot, North

Dakota, passed away

January 1, 2020 in El-

lensburg, Washington at

the age of 84.

Don enjoyed many dif-

ferent pursuits in this life.

He worked in construc-

tion, was an accom-

plished flight instructor,

part-time surveyor, and

served in the Army during

the Korean War. After re-

ceiving his Masters from

Portland State, Don stayed

true to his love of educa-

tion retiring from Aber-

deen School District as

the Vocational and Techn-

ical Education Adminis-

trator. Don’s pride and joy

in this life was the family

farm in McCleary and his

daughter, Chadlyn.

He is survived by his

wife Connie of McCleary,

WA; their daughter Chad-

lyn of Ellensburg, WA;

and sisters Elaine and

Gloria of North Dakota.

A private family service
