Dale Bauer

Dale Bauer, 91, Minot,

died Saturday, January 25,

2020, at the Garrison

Memorial Hospital.

Dale LeRoy Bauer was

born April 20, 1928, the

son of Harold and Mabel

(Strate) Bauer, in Minot,

ND. He was raised on the

Bauer family farm located

northeast of Max, ND, and

attended Iota Flat Country

School.

Dale married Janice M.

Bevers February 10, 1952,

at Hope Lutheran Church,

rural Sawyer, ND. They

made their home in the

Max area. They farmed in

Iota Flat Township of

Ward County until 1956,

when they moved to

Minot. Dale then went to

work for Nash Finch as a

truck driver.

Janice passed away Au-

gust 18, 2005.

He was a member of

Christ Lutheran Church,

the Eagles Aerie, Elks

Club, and the Moose

Lodge, all of Minot.

Dale was a practical jok-

ester. He enjoyed pulling

pranks on people, work-

ing in his garage, travel-

ing, site seeing, going to

McDonald’s for an ice

cream cone, going to the

shopping center to have

coffee with his friends,

and spending time with

his family.

Surviving family in-

cludes: daughter, Sherry

White, Fargo, ND; son,

Terry (Roxanne) Bauer,

Fargo, ND; grandchildren,

Cherich Reich, Travis

White, Jesse White, Lacey

Bauer and Saphire Hein;

great-grandchildren,

Korwynn Brown, Jacob

Reich, Enias (E-Ni-Us)

White and Emma White;

sister, Muriel Berg, Minot;

sister-in-law, Betty

Marshall, Denton, TX; and

numerous nieces,

nephews and cousins.

Dale was preceded in

death by his parents; wife

of 53 years, Janice; broth-

ers, Wayne (Annette)

Bauer; sister-in-law, Lita

Albus; and brother-in-law,

Wallace Gullickson.

Honorary Pallbearers:

Clayton Patterson, Dwaine

Gullickson, Brian Gullick-son, Travis White, Jesse

White and Vinson Olson.

Funeral: Thursday,

January 30, 2020, at 11:00

a.m. at Christ Lutheran-

Church, Minot.

Interment: Hope Luth-

eran Cemetery, rural

Sawyer, ND.

Visitation: Wednesday

from 4 to 6 p.m. at

Thompson-Larson Fun-

eral Home, Minot.
