Bradley Ness

Bradley K. Ness, 59,

Kenmare, ND, passed

away peacefully after a

courageous battle with

cancer on Monday, Janu-

ary 27, 2020 in a Minot

care facility with his fami-

ly at his side.

Bradley Kenneth Ness

was born on March 7,

1960, the eldest son of

Marvin and Ina (Aho)

Ness in Stanley, ND. He

was raised and educated

in Kenmare, graduating

from Kenmare High

School in 1978. He furth-

ered his education by at-

tending Williston State

College and later Univer-

sity of North Dakota

Grand Forks.

Brad began his career as

a golf course superinten-

dent at the Kenmare

Country Club. He later as-

sisted in the construction

of Red Mike Golf Course

near Ray, ND. Following

the completion of Red

Mike, Brad transferred to

the Minot Country Club,

where he served as an as-

sistant groundskeeper. He

returned to his true home

of Kenmare, where he was

employed at the Kenmare

Farmers Union.

Brad was a confirmed

member of the Nazareth

Lutheran Church of Ken-

mare, and recently be-

came a member of St.

Paul’s Lutheran Church,

Minot.

Brad enjoyed spending

time in the outdoors, fish-

ing and hunting with his

family and friends. He en-

joyed driving rural areas

and observing the

wildlife. He was a gen-

erous, kind, caring, polite,

and very positive man,

that will be deeply missed

by all that knew him.

Brad is survived by:

Brother: Carl (Julie) Ness,

Bismarck, two sisters: Ju-

lie Ann (Sharon Roth)

Ness, Darien, IL, Theresa

(Ed) Karhan, Minot;

Nephews and a niece: Ni-

cholas, Derek “DJ”, and

Kaitlyn.

Brad was preceded in

death by his loving

parents, maternal and

paternal grandparents,

and several aunts, uncles

and cousins.

Visitation: Saturday,

February 1, 2020 from 1

pm until service time at St

Paul’s Lutheran Church,

Minot, located at 200 East

Burdick Expressway.

Funeral Service: Satur-

day, February 1, 2020 at 2

pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran

Church, Minot

Burial: A private family

burial will take place at a

later date.
