She was a devout
Catholic and was known
as a loving mother, grand-
mother, great grandmoth-
er, friend and woman
with a big, caring, and
loving heart. Despite the
fact that she was unable
to swim, she was a com-
mercial deep-sea
fisher-woman. In retire-
ment, she was involved in
many community activi-
ties such as Little League,
Neighborhood Board, Spe-
cial Forces Assn. Hawaii
Chapter, Royal Order of
Kamehameha-Woman’s
Auxiliary, and she earned
a Black Belt in Kenpo
Karate at age of 76!
