2019 in her home.

Jacqueline “Jacky” Ann

Jessen was born on July

11, 1954, the daughter of

Darold and Carol (Har-

stad) Jessen in Bottineau,

ND. She was raised and

educated in Minot, where

she graduated from Minot

High School in 1972.

Jacky furthered her educa-

tion by attending Minot

State University.

Jacky was once married

to Monte Sande, and to

this union children Alys-

sa, Kelly and Derek were

born. They later divorced.

Jacky worked in various

positions throughout her

lifetime, but her most im-

portant was working as a

caregiver for her two sons,

Kelly and Derek, who had

special needs. She was an

advocate for them, always

striving to make their

lives better.

She enjoyed a healthy

lifestyle, eating right and

exercising whenever pos-

sible. Jacky was an avid

Minnesota Twins and

Minnesota Vikings Fan.

Jacky is survived by:

Children: Alyssa (Fiance

Michael Sander) Iverson,

Minot, Kelly Sande,

Minot; two grandchildren,

Brandon and Owen Iver-

son; Mother, Carol Jessen,

Minot; Siblings, Dennis

(Cheryl) Jessen, Moor-

head, MN, Debbie (Steve)

Bakke, Minot; Nephews

and niece: Jamey (Mariah)

Jessen, Mandy Jessen,

Ryan (Sarah) Bakke, Tyler

Bakke; several aunts, un-

cles and cousins.

Jacky is preceded in

death by: her father and a

son, Derek.

will take place: Saturday,

November 16, 2019 at 1

pm at Thompson-Larson

Minot.

Burial: Rosehill
