L. LeRoy Peterson, 77,
longtime Ryder, ND farm-
er and rancher, died Sun-
day, October 6, 2019 in a

LeRoy joined the work-

missile sites in the early
1960’s. He served his
country honorably in the
US Army Reserves from
1964 to 1970.
LeRoy was joined in
marriage to Sandra Morris
on November 27, 1965 at

of Petersons to work the
land and raise livestock.

in his community. He en-
joyed playing pool, doing
crossword puzzles, play-
ing cribbage with his kids
or a quick game of
‘racehorse’ with family
and friends. His quick wit
and endless knowledge
during trivia nights will
be forever missed. He en-
joyed the outdoors, was a
crack-shot while hunting
