Kevin J. Anderson, 58,
of rural Aneta, ND, lost
his life Wednesday, July
3, 2019.
Kevin John Anderson
was born March 3, 1961,
to Maynard and Patsy
Anderson in Minot, ND.
Kevin grew up on a farm,
where he developed a
hard work ethic and a
passion for working with
cattle.
Kevin graduated in
1979 from Carpio High
School, Carpio, ND, as
Salutatorian. After high
school, Kevin worked for
area farmers. He then
started K-Anders Dairy
and was part owner in a
feed store. Kevin enjoyed
many rewarding jobs over
his career, including con-
struction, dairy farming,
and most recently at
Columbia Grain, Arvilla,
ND.
Kevin met the love of
his life, Tamara Bengs, in
1993, and they were unit-
ed in marriage on March
18, 1995 at Holmes Unit-
ed Methodist Church in
Reynolds, ND. After their
marriage, they started
their life together in Ane-
ta, before moving to
Angus, MN. In 1998,
Kevin and Tammy moved
back to Aneta where they
purchased the country
home that they loved.
They truly enjoyed spend-
ing time together, espe-
cially caring for their four
fur-babies and vegetable
garden.
Kevin is survived by:
his wife, Tamara Ander-
son, of rural Aneta;
parents, Maynard and
Patsy (Brayson) Anderson;
siblings, David (John
Garver) Anderson, Min-
neapolis, MN, Kari (Dar-
cy) Myers, Surrey, ND,
Karla (Dave) Myers,
Surrey, Daryl (Gerice)
Anderson, Horace, ND; 16
nieces and nephews; 24
great nieces and nephews;
and numerous aunts and
uncles.
Kevin was preceded in
death by: his
grandparents, Burton and
Helen Anderson and
Sigurd and Nora Ron-
ningen.
Visitation will be from
5-7 p.m., with a prayer
service at 7 p.m., Tues-
day, July 9, 2019 at
Amundson Funeral Home
in Grand Forks, ND. Visi-
tation will continue from
9:30-10:30 a.m., followed
by a funeral at 10:30 a.m.,
Wednesday, July 10, at
Holmes United Methodist
Church in Reynolds, ND.
Burial will follow in the
church cemetery.
A memorial service
will be held at 10:30 a.m.
on Friday, July 12, 2019,
at Carpio Lutheran
Church in Carpio, ND.
The family has request
ed that memorials in
honor of Kevin be given to
a children’s charity of
your choice.
