Sharon Berg
Feb. 27, 1949-June 6, 2019
Sharon Renae Berg, 70,
rural Minot, died Thurs-
day, June 6, 2019 at her
home.
Sharon was born Febru-
ary 27, 1949 in Harvey,
North Dakota, the
daughter of Ruprecht
“Rudy” and June (Fryer)
Lang. She was raised in
Minot and graduated from
Minot High School in
1968. She was employed
for a brief time with Cen-
tral Office Supply prior to
her marriage to Eddie
Berg on February 1, 1969
in Minot.
Sharon and Eddie made
their home outside of
Minot in their early years
and moved to Burlington
where they raised their
children. When the boys
were grown and Susie
was in high school they
moved back to rural
Minot to accommodate
their love of horses and
dogs. Sharon was em-
ployed throughout the
years at Ellison’s Depart-
ment Store, Herbergers,
Staples Office Store and
North Country Mercantile
and Equipment.
She loved her dogs,
especially great danes and
labs. She leaves behind
Gracie (red lab) Butchie
(llewellin setter) and So-
phie (english cocker
spaniel). Throughout the
years, she and Eddie en-
joyed having horses.
While the Missouri Fox-
trotters were their favor-
ites, the family favorite
was the retired rodeo
pickup horse named
Trouble. They loved to go
horseback riding and
camping with their
horses, family and
friends. She and Eddie
were longtime members
of the RRR Saddle Club of
Ruthville. Sharon loved
flowers and enjoyed
watching Eddie garden
and mow the grass. The
entire family enjoys
Eddie’s tomatoes! She en-
joyed hosting holiday
dinners and preparing
meals for her family. Her
FAMOUS potato salad
was a family favorite!
Nothing made Sharon and
Eddie happier than spend-
ing time with the chil-
dren, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
Sharon and Eddie were
longtime members of
Peace Lutheran Church in
Burlington.
