Roger McCloskey, 82,

Bismarck, died May 13,

2019, at Sanford Health,

Bismarck.

Mass of Christian Burial

will be held at 10:30 am

Wednesday, May 22, at

Church of Corpus Christi,

1919 N 2nd St., Bismarck.

There will be no visita-

tion, cremation has taken

place.

Burial is at 1:00 pm at

the North Dakota Veterans

Cemetery, Mandan.

Roger was born July 17,

1936, in Granville, ND,

the son of Lester and

Dorothy (Robinson)

McCloskey. He attended

school in Granville and

graduated with honors.

Roger served four years in

the USAF and was sta-

tioned in Florida, Moroc-

co, and Spain. He married

Bergetta (Schutt) Stein on

July 16, 1966. They lived

in Bismarck until 1992

when Roger retired from

the US Postal Service and

they moved to Riverdale,

ND; later moving back to

Bismarck in October of

2013.

Roger is survived by:

his wife, Bergetta; step-

children, Sharon Stein,

Joann (Tom) Heard, Joe

(Cindy) Stein, and Doug

Stein; eight grandchil-

dren, Erin, Carrie and

Matt Heard, Andy Stein,

David (Callie) Stein, Chris

(Christy) Stein, Jesse

Stein, and Tyler Stein; six

great-grandchildren,

McKena and Landon

Heard, Eli, Oliver, Henry

and Cameron Stein; and

Joslyn and Julia Stein; his

sister, Carol Kundo,

Frazee, MN.

He was preceded in

death by: his parents; his

grandparents; and his

brother, Ed McCloskey.
