Hilda Crilly, 99, Minot,
North Dakota passed away
May 10, 2019 at Edge-
wood Vista Assisted Liv-
ing, Minot, North Dakota.
Hilda was born on Au-
gust 30, 1919 near Kief,
North Dakota to Fred and
Katie (Kluck) Spear. She
attended country school
near Kief. Following her
education, she worked as
a waitress at the Empress
Hotel in Drake, ND where
she met a railroader, her
future husband, Y.C.
“Bud” Crilly.
Bud and Hilda were
married on February 29,
1939. Their marriage last-
ed until Bud’s death on
April 5, 1997. They made
their home in Wheelock,
ND until they moved to
Minot, ND in 1947 where
Bud was employed by the
Great Northern Railroad
at Gavin Yard.
As a 12-year-old child,
Hilda accepted Jesus
Christ as her Lord and Sa-
vior at a revival in Rosen-
feld Baptist Church near
Drake, ND. Her life was
forever changed. Hilda
was a long-time member
of First Baptist Church,
Minot, where she served
in many ministries, most
important of which was
her ministry to children.
She loved children and
wanted them to know
Jesus.

Homegoing Service for
Hilda will be held on
Wednesday, May 15, 2019
at 1:30 p.m. at First Bap-
tist Church in Minot.
Interment will be in
Sunset Memorial Gar-
dens, Minot.
Visitation: Tuesday
from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00
p.m. at First Baptist
Church, Minot.
Memorials are preferred
to the Child Evangelism
Fellowship, First Baptist
Church, or a charity of
your choice.
The family would like
to thank the Staff at Edge-
wood Vista for loving and
caring for our Loving and
Lovely Hilda the past few
years. Their care meant so
very much to us.
We would like to also
thank the medical staff at
Trinity Hospital for their
kindness and excellent
care during this difficult
time.
