June Lockrem

Friday, March 8, 2019, at

Heart of America Medical

Center of Rugby.

June O. Williamson was

born August 17, 1922, the

daughter of Louis and

Myrtle (Lambert) William-

son, in Minot, ND. She

was raised and educated

in Surrey, ND.

June married Albert

Hennes in 1941. They

made their home in Bur-

lington, ND and from this

union, three children

were born: Judy, Ken and

Carol. The couple would

later divorce.

June married Elmer

Lockrem in 1974 and they

made their home in

Minot. June worked for a

number of years as a cook

for Trinity Hospital and

Trinity Nursing Home un-

til retiring in 1984. Elmer

passed away in October

that same year. June

remained in Minot until

moving to Rugby in 2010.

June enjoyed cooking

and baking sweets. She

loved traveling

throughout the U.S. and

embraced her adven-

turous spirit riding roller

coasters. Her favorite ac-

tivity was spending time

with her beloved

grandchildren.

Surviving family in-

cludes: Children, Ken

Hennes, Minot and Carol

(Lonnie) Rovig, Albany,

OR; 9 grandchildren;

numerous

great-grandchildren and

great-great-grandchildren;

brother, Robert (Miriam)

Williamson, Fargo; sister,

Betty Rivinius, CA; and

numerous nieces,

nephews and cousins.

June was preceded in

death by: her parents;

husbands Albert Hennes

and Elmer Lockrem;

daughter, Judy Thomas;

brother, Louis “Buddy”

Williamson; sister, La-

Vonne Barnes; and

beloved poodle, Lucky.

Funeral: Wednesday,

March 13, 2019, at 11:00

a.m. at Thompson-Larson

Funeral Home, Minot,

ND.

Interment: Sunset

Memorial Gardens, Minot,

ND.

Visitation: Tuesday

from 4 to 7 p.m. at

Thompson-Larson Fun-

eral Home, Minot, ND.
