Joyce Estvold was born
November 21, 1922 in
American Falls, Idaho to
Harold Graham and Lillis
Mamie (Hughes) McCul-
ley. She was raised in
Hermiston, Oregon where
she attended school and
graduated from high

worked for the Corp of
Engineers during World
War II at their ordnance
depot. Through this job
she was transferred to

Parshall with Dorothy
over the Christmas holi-
days in 1944 and met
Spencer Estvold. A short
six months later, on June
2, 1945, she and Spencer
were married. They made
their home on the family
farm where they raised
their family and produced
small grains and lives-

lake cabin or going on golf
outings around the state.
A talented seamstress, she
made many of her fami-
lies clothing for years.
She did fine needlework
and knitting and enjoyed
