Minot, formerly of the

rural Drake area, passed

away Saturday, February

16th, 2019 at Trinity Hos-

pital in Minot.

Elizabeth Schneibel,

daughter of Sigmund and

Katherine (Jaeger)

Schneibel, was born

February 25th, 1921 at

rural Orrin where she was

raised and attended the

nearby Jefferson Town-

ship School.

On April 9th, 1945 she

was united in marriage to

Peter Marquart at Fulda.

They made their home on

the Marquart farm in the

Blumenfeld area until

1969 when they moved to

a farm near Drake. Mr.

Marquart passed away

June 10th, 1980. Elizabeth

moved to Minot in Febru-

ary of 2009. She was a

Member of St. Margaret

Mary Catholic Church of

Drake.

Elizabeth enjoyed farm

life. Her passions were

gardening, canning, bak-

ing and cooking. She en-

joyed sharing her many

recipes with her family.

To pass the time she also

enjoyed embroidery, sew-

ing quilts and playing

cards. Elizabeth’s great

sense of humor was al-

ways on display espe-

cially when visiting with

family and friends. How-

ever, throughout her life

her greatest joy was al-

ways her children, grand-

children and great-

grandchildren.

She is survived by her

children, Josephine

Clara (Roger) Mullenberg

of West Fargo, Sebastian

(Pru) Marquart of Minot,

Peter (Peggy) Marquart of

Devils Lake, Elizabeth

(Michael) Feener of Fargo,

Edward (Rayetta) Mar-

(Shannon) Marquart of

Sawyer, Martin (Donita)

Marquart of Glenburn,

Leonard (Amanda) Mar-

quart of Anamoose, and

Lawrence (April) Mar-

quart of Anamoose; 27

grandchildren; 34 great-

grandchildren; siblings,

and Clem (Lydia)

Schneibel of Minot; sis-

ters-in-law, Irene Mar-

both of Harvey; and

numerous nieces and

nephews.

Elizabeth was preceded

in death by her husband,

Peter; 2 daughters, Pau-

line and infant daughter

Theresa; 2 grandchildren

Ronda and Michael; her

parents; and siblings, Sig-

mund, Anthony, Joseph,

Augustine, Leo, Mary,

Eleanora, Louis, Leonard,

Maurus and Helen.

Visitation: Friday, 6:00

P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at St.

Francis- Xavier Church in

Anamoose.

Prayer Service: Friday,

7:00 P.M. at the church.

Funeral: Saturday,

February 23rd at 10:30

A.M. at St. Francis-Xavier

Catholic Church in

Anamoose.

Burial: Sacred Heart

Catholic Cemetery in Or-

rin in the spring.
