Robert James Stafford

was born January 11,

1934, the son of Elliott

and Dorothy (Logan) Staf-

ford, in Pelican Rapids,

MN. He was raised and

educated in Minot, gra-

duating from Minot High

School in 1952. He then

attended the State School

of Science in Wahpeton.

Bob was once married

to Donna Thompson.

From this union, a

daughter, Deborah and

son, Ronald, were born.

Bob married Gayle F.

Engen January 28, 1976.

He enjoyed fishing,

golfing, and playing

basketball in his younger

days.

Surviving family in-

cludes: wife, Gayle,

Minot; son, Ronald (Ker-

ry) Stafford, Minot, ND;

daughter, Deborah

(Timothy) Hunter, Garris-

on, ND; step-children,

Kerry DuPuis, Blaine Du-

Puis, Brigitte Funk,

Matthew DuPuis, and Bri-

an DuPuis; grandchildren,

Ryan Stafford; great-

grandchildren, Ryder Staf-

ford.

Bob was preceded in

death by his parents, El-

liott and Dorothy Stafford;

sister, Delores Stafford.
