Judith Ann Rosendahl

Feb. 18, 1937-Aug. 10, 2018

Judith Ann Rosendahl,

81, of Westhope, ND

passed away peacefully

on Friday August 10, 2018

at Keepsake Kottage in

Wichita, KS.

Judy was born on

February 18, 1937 in

Westhope to Neil and

Clara (Rehn) Matteson.

Judy grew up and attend-

ed school in Westhope

where she graduated from

Westhope High School in

1954 as valedictorian.

Judy married Arlyn

Rosendahl on October 7,

1956 and they were

blessed with 3 children.

In 1963, they built a new

home on their farmstead.

Judy loved her life in

Westhope and on the farm

where she worked side-

by-side with Arlyn. She

enjoyed cooking and bak-

ing for her family and

friends, and her home

was always filled with

love and laughter. Judy

was so excited to become

a grandma, and the time

spent with her grandchil-

dren camping, fishing,

spending time at their

lake home and the farm

were some of the best

years of her life. She was

very active in her church

and loved sharing her del-

icious pies, buns, and hot

dishes. Her passion was

working with the church

youth.

Arlyn lovingly took care

of Judy all of her life

through her many health

issues, but when he no

longer could, she moved

to Kansas in 2015 to live

with her daughter and

son-in-law. She had many

great times while there

and everyone adored her.

In 2017, she moved into

Keepsake Kottage where

she received wonderful

care. Judy will be sadly

missed by her family and

friends, but our memories

will live on forever.

Judy is survived by

husband Arlyn of

Westhope; children

Wayne (Kathy) Rosendahl

of Souris, Vickie (Reidar)

Clausen of Haysville, KS,

and Randy (Jody) Rosen-

dahl of Bottineau; grand-

children; Ryan, Krista,

Megan, Amanda, Landon,

Kelsey, Kayla, and Karlee

6 great-grandchildren; and

numerous nieces and

nephews. She is preceded

in death by her parents

and 5 brothers: Skip

(Curtis), Larry, Rollie,

Doug, and Neil.
