Danny P. Jarmin, 68,

Danny Paul Jarmin was

born October 10, 1949,

the son of Carl and Agnes

Minot, ND. He completed

his first 8 grades of school

in Minot, and finished

grades 9-12 in Williston,

He furthered his educa-

tion, attending UND

Williston for 2 years, and

graduated from Western

Technical College,

Denver, CO with a degree

in Automotive Technolo-

Danny was drafted into

the US Army in July of

1969 and served his time

with the US Army, Eu-

Armored Calvary Regi-

ment as a tank com-

mander and communica-

tions chief. He was the

honor graduate of the Or-

class leading to his pro-

motion to the rank of Ser-

geant. He was honorably

discharged July 9, 1971.

He returned to Willis-

ton, ND following his

discharge and worked for

Montgomery Ward NAPA

and Combined Insurance

before moving to Minot in

1974 when he went to

work at Mann’s Automo-

tive. In February of 1978,

he began working for

Westlie Truck Center and

spent the next 40 years

working there, serving as

parts manager. This was a

dream job for Danny; he

loved the people he

worked for, the people he

worked with and enjoyed

all the customers he

worked with over that

time.

Danny was united in

marriage to the love of his

life Judy Ann Ewert on

June 1, 1974 at a

ceremony held at Trefol-

belonged to the Mouse

River Loop Pheasants and

Pheasants of the Future.

He was a strong Advocate

for the second amend-

ment and enjoyed many

outdoor sports, including

hunting, target shooting,

fishing, snowmobiling

and drag racing.

Danny enjoyed and

respected the outdoors.

Hunting with Pat and

Ronnie, they were always

willing to teach young

people to enjoy the out-

door safely and respect-

fully. Danny loved dogs

and had so many great

memories of Bingo, Sassy,

Reba, Remy and Beau. He

also had a soft spot in his

heart for Bugs, our sweet-

heart old black dog that

Todd brought home to

visit us for Thanksgiving

and she never left.

A highlight of his later

years was visiting his son

Todd and daughter-in-law

Alona and their family

Jakob, Lukas and Mikah at

their beautiful new home

in Belgrade, MT. He was

so proud of them and

their many accomplish-

ments. He was a loving

husband, father, grandfa-

ther, brother and friend

and will be missed by all

that knew him.
