Joyce E. Westfall was
born January 15, 1936, the

in Minot. She was raised
and educated in Minot.
Joyce was united in
marriage to Dale L. John-
son, August 23, 1958 in
Garrison. After they mar-
ried, they moved to a
farmstead south of Bert-

and raised various lives-

children as a full-time
wife, mother, homemaker
and farmhand.
In December of 1970
the family moved to
Minot, where Joyce
gained employment at
John Moses Hospital.
When the hospital closed
its Minot location she
went to work for Trinity
Hospital where she
worked until she retired

When her children
were younger Joyce en-
joyed attending church
services at Church of God,
gardening, canning, camp-
