Air Force, 74, Minot ND,

passed away Thursday,

March 23, 2017, in

Minot, ND. Ronnie was

born to Mildred and Wil-

lys Peterson, March 31,

1942 in LaCrosse, WI. He

was the eldest of 3 chil-

dren. Ronnie was raised

and educated in Eau

Claire, WI, graduating

from Memorial High

School in 1960. He at-

tended the University of

Wisconsin participating in

the American Chemical

Society and a member of

Gamma Delta earning his

Bachelorette Degree in

1965.

Ronnie married Maxine

Kroger on July 15, 1970

and together they share

one daughter Michele

Olson-Peterson. The fami-

ly made their home in

Minot in 1974.

Ronnie enlisted in the

United State Air Force

February 18, 1965, he ac-

tively served his country

for 23 years 8 months and

13 days. Ronnie never

failed to stay in contact

with him family during

the 3 years, 11 months

and 11 days he was sta-

tioned overseas. Ronnie

served at Yakota Air Base

Japan; 5th Special Opera-

tions Wing, Udorn Royal

Air Force Base, Thailand;

51st EMS Squadron, 51st

Tactical Fighter Wing,

Osan Air Base, Republic

of Korea and the 5th Field

Maintenance Squadron,

5th Bombardment Wing,

Minot Air Force Base. Fol-

lowing his retirement

from the USAF he was

employed at Minot Daily

News from 1988 to 1990,

Wal-Mart 1991 through

2011 and the family busi-

ness Peterson Enterprises

since 1978.

Ronnie and Maxine

were once active members

of the Hustlers Square

Dance and Round Dance

Club in Minot.

Left behind to cherish

his memories: wife Max-

ine, daughter Michele,

grandchildren Heather

(Shane Lider), Amber Ol-

son (Tommy Edwards),

Ronnie Olson; great

grandchildren Kote &

Abby Lider, Ellie Ed-

wards; siblings Mike

Peterson and family,

JoAnn Bateson and fami-

ly.

He was preceded in

death by his parents.

Cremation has taken

place and there will be no

formal services at this

time.
