Kandace Miller

vember 12, 2016 in her

home.

Kandace R. Smith was

born on May 21, 1962, the

daughter of Ron and Ila

(Smith) Smith in Minot,

ND. She was raised and

educated in Minot, gra-

duating from Minot Pub-

lic Schools in 1980. Fol-

lowing her graduation she

worked for Kmart.

On August 15, 1986,

Kandy was united in mar-

riage to Maury Miller, at

Our Lady of Grace Cathol-

ic Church in Minot. They

made their home in

Minot, where they raised

their two sons Nikolaus

and Christopher. Kandy

continued to work for

Kmart, leaving the com-

pany after 29 years of ser-

vice to work as a

wholesaler for Kellogg

Distributing. In addition,

Kandy worked for  Watco

and Delta Airlines.

She was a member of

Our Lady of Grace Cathol-

ic Church. Kandy enjoyed

spending time with her

family, especially her

granddaughter Briella.

She loved spending time

at both Rice Lake and

most recently Lake Meti-

goshe. She was a loving

wife, mother, grandmoth-

er, daughter and friend

and will be missed by all

that knew her.
