Freddie “Fritz” W.
Frey, 79, Glenburn, died
Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015,
in a Minot nursing home.
Freddie W. “Fritz” Frey
was born Jan. 29, 1936, a
son of Fred and Regina
Frey, in Glenburn. He
was raised and educated
in the Glenburn area, at-
tending country school at
Van Buren #4,
Freddie farmed his en-
tire life. He worked along-
side his father until 1986,
when he retired. He con-
tinued to live on the fami-
ly farm until 2013 when
he moved into Minot,
and resided at the Milton
Young Towers. In March
2015, he moved to Trini-
ty Nursing home, due to
heath reasons.
In his early years, Fred-
die enjoyed hunting with
family and friends. He
was a fun-loving person,
and enjoyed playing ag-
gravation, bingo and
listening to music. He
taught several of his
nieces and nephews to
drive. They also enjoyed
herding and working cat-
tle with him.
Freddie’s loving family
includes: sisters, Violet
Kubler, Helen New, Lilli-
an (Gerald) Rubbelke,
Linda (George) Walker;
brothers, Alfred (Betty)
Frey, Clifford (Ywaine)
Frey; and numerous niec-
es, nephews and cousins.
Freddie was preceded
in death by: his parents;
brothers, Ernest, Ray-
mond and Richard Frey,
brothers-in-law, Marvin
Kubler and David New;
and sisters-in-law, Grace
Frey and Margaret Frey.
Funeral service: 10:30
a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4,
at Faith United Methodist
Church, Minot.
Burial: Sunset Memori-
al Gardens, Minot.
Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 3, at
Thompson-Larson Fu-
neral Home, Minot
