Eileen Vetter
Eileen Vetter, 64, Minot, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015, at Trinity Hospital in Minot.
Eileen Catherine Kremer was born Nov. 22, 1950, the daughter of Tony and Mary (Scherr) Kremer, in Rugby. She was raised in Balta and later in Harvey. She graduated from Harvey High School in 1968.
Eileen was united in marriage to Marvin Vetter June 7, 1969, in Selz. They made their home in Minot where she had worked at White Drug Cafeteria until her two children, Paula and David, were born.
She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Minot, where she was active with the food pantry.
Eileen loved playing cards, bowling, traveling, reading, cooking, baking, garage sales and spending time with her children, grandchildren and family.
Surviving family includes: husband of 45 years, Marvin, Minot; children, Paula (Matthew) Meier, Minot, and David (Jamie) Vetter, Minot; two grandchildren, Sarah and Rebecca Meier; mother-in-law, Eva Vetter, Minot; brothers, Tony (Alice) Kremer, in Pennsylvania, and Jerome (Joyce) Kremer, Minot; sisters, Paulette (Rod) Johnson, Valley City, and Rose Selensky, Harvey; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Eileen was preceded in death by: her mother and father; father-in-law, William Vetter; brothers-in-law, Frank Selensky and Robert Grasmoen.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 25, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. today, Friday, at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
Vigil Prayer Service: 7 p.m. today, Friday, at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
