Drivers urged to slow down

North Dakota is in the summer travel season and Vision Zero and law enforcement agencies across the state are reminding drivers that slowing down can save lives. According to the North Dakota Department of Transportation's Highway Safety Division, extra patrols will be visible across North Dakota through Aug. 9 as part of the Speeding Slows You Down enforcement campaign. Scouts to hold 29th annual car wash

Scouting America Boy Troop 425 will hold its 29th annual car wash Saturday, July 11, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Congregational United Church of Christ, 430 N. Broadway. A freewill donation will be accepted. Proceeds will go to help the troop with summer camp expenses. A yard sale will be going on at the same time. Proceeds from the yard sale will help the troop bus fund and also help Scouts with camping expenses.

FAA awards nearly $32 million to ND airports

BISMARCK – The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded nearly $32 million in Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grants for Minot and other airports across North Dakota.
