ND airports receive federal grants
WASHINGTON – The Federal Aviation Administration awarded grants to North Dakota airports that totaled $615,575 from the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, according to Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-ND.
Area airports receiving funds were: Stanley Airport Authority, $159,000, and City of Mohall $126,575.
The funding comes from the FAA’s Airport Infrastructure Grant program to modernize infrastructure.
Cramer also announced the FFA awarded grants of $1.4 million to multiple airports for runway installation, construction, rehabilitation and assessments. Rugby Municipal Airport Authority received $87,300.
