So now Wayne Stenehjem thinks judges should decide elections, to hell with the voters. He has become an embarrassment to the State of North Dakota, and here in Divide County where his wife grew up.
You know our attorney general would be singing a different tune if Hawaii sued North Dakota to invalidate our votes and throw them out. At least, I don't think he's yet lost every vestige of the integrity and honor he used to have, though he's pushing it. He'd be on his high horse, ranting about "what the hell business does Hawaii have trying to tell us how to run our elections in North Dakota." And quite properly so.
Yet he jumps right in with his ethics-challenged henchman Paxton, the AG of Texas, in a case that is exactly like Hawaii trying to throw out all the votes of North Dakota voters. Just like he did in last month's case trying to strip away healthcare from millions of Americans. Paxton has been postponing his securities fraud trial for years, and recently was accused of bribery and various abuses of his office. What kind of a scam are he and Stenehjem running together?
The cult of Donald Trump is out to destroy us and destroy our way of life and our system of government, just because a crazy, narcissistic lunatic cannot handle losing, cannot even admit that he lost, soundly and fairly and squarely.
And cult it most certainly is, no different from Jim Jones and the People's Temple or Marshall Applewhite and his doomsday comet. Now we have the Republican Party of Arizona posting pictures of a guy with a crossbow arrow pointed at his head, asking Republicans to be willing to DIE FOR DONALD TRUMP. Not for our country, not for our way of government, but specifically for the LEADER OF THEIR CULT. Contrary to all of the goals Republicans used to have when they still had principles. We have Trump's own election lawyer saying that the Department of Homeland Security official who made sure we had the most secure election ever should be shot at dawn. Can't get any more cultish, but there are also dozens more incidents showing clearly how bad it is-all the escapades of Rudolph the Red-Streaked (aka Rusty Rudy) are prime examples. Giuliani has fallen even farther into the hole than Stenehjem has, he's only a hollow shell of the old America's Mayor. Then there's Sidney Whatshername, an essential member of Trump's crack legal team, until she wasn't. Let's have a big round of applause for Hugo Chavez and the Venezuelan Vampires, for the great job they did counting the U.S. votes over in Germany-at least that's Sidney's story, and she's sticking to it.
Why is Stenehjem hell-bent on destroying us, our health, and our system of government. Where did the level-headed guy of 40 years ago disappear to? He wasn't like that when we were in law school, nor when he served in the state legislature for many years starting while he was in law school.
