Jordan Bahnsen, Minot, charged with hindering law enforcement, theft of property

Jordan Taylor Bahnsen, Minot, is accused of hindering law enforcement when they were in pursuit of Raven Ware on June 18.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, police were investigating a report of an unlawful entry to a motor vehicle at Minot State. Raven Ware was the driver of a car that fled the scene. She had fled on foot and a witness had reported seeing someone matching Ware’s description stop at a northwest Minot residence to ask to use their telephone. The officer looked around the area for Ware and saw a vehicle driven by Bahnsen circling the area. The officer stopped Bahnsen and asked if he was looking for Ware. Bahnsen claimed he did not know Ware. The officer was aware that Ware was associated with Bahnsen from a prior incident. Bahnsen allegedly continued to delay the officer’s investigation. Bahnsen was then arrested and later admitted that he and Ware were dating. A search turned up photos in his pocket of Bahnsen and Ware. Ware was later located and said she had called Bahnsen to pick her up. Ware was arrested for reckless driving and a fourth offense of driving under suspension.

Andrew Schell, a friend of Ware and Bahnsen, was charged with rifling through cars at MSU on June 18. He is charged with Class C felony possession of stolen property, unlawful entry into a vehicle, a Class C felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C felony.

Bahnsen is also accused of Class C felony theft of property regarding the theft of a motorcycle from Pure Honda on July 20. The stolen motorcycle, which had been repainted, was located parked on the west side of the Guest Lodge Motel on July 21. On July 25, another motorcycle was stolen from Pure Honda. It was observed heading towards the area of the Jefferson and Gold Nugget Trailer Court. Bahnsen and Ware lived at the Jefferson Trailer Court area. Police obtained a search warrant for Bahnsen’s vehicle and found a key to the motorcycle on the front seat.

Bahnsen, Ware, and Schell were all separately charged wtih burglaryof Paradise Spas and Motorsports in Minot on July 7. Three motorcycles were reportedly stolen during that incident.
