WILLISTON - The Economic Development Association of North Dakota will hold its 2026 fall conference in Williston from Tuesday through Thursday, Oct. 6-8, bringing together economic developers, state and local officials, business leaders and community stakeholders from across North Dakota for three days of professional development, idea-sharing and networking.

This year's theme, "Building Momentum: Policy in Action, Progress in Motion," highlights the connection between policy, partnerships and the projects shaping North Dakota's continued growth. Conference programming will focus on key economic development issues, including housing, workforce and healthcare, infrastructure and data center growth, site selection and investment readiness and state policy priorities heading into the 2027 Legislative Session.

A featured keynote from Barry Matherly of Hickey Global will explore investment readiness in today's competitive site selection environment. The conference will also feature discussions with state leaders, economic development professionals and industry experts, including a Policy Power Session with North Dakota legislators moderated by Commerce Commissioner Chris Schilken.
