The Souris Valley Animal Shelter willhost its Spayghetti and No Balls dinner and pet show fundraiser Friday, Nov. 13, from 6-8:30 p.m at the Sleep Inn & Suites and Conference Center.
Event proceeds benefit SVAS’s Spay It Forward Discount Voucher Program, which helps eligible low-income families afford spay/neuter surgeries for their pets. The program provides $50 vouchers to qualifying pet owners in Ward, Bottineau, McLean, Mountrail, McHenry, and Renville counties, helping reduce financial barriers to responsible pet ownership.
Spaying and neutering play an important role in reducing pet overpopulation, preventing unwanted litters and decreasing the number of animals entering shelters.
Through this annual fundraiser, SVAS stated it hopes to expand access to affordable veterinary care while bringing the community together for an evening of food, fundraising and fun.
