A preliminary hearing has been set in North Central District Court for Nov. 5 for a Minot man charged with attempted murder.
Melvin Tory Cullers, 53, is charged with attempted murder, a Class A felony, and felonious restraint, terrorizing and domestic violence-serious bodily injury, all Class C felonies.
According to the court affidavit, Cullers was arrested Sept. 27 following a domestic assault that included threats with a knife.
He is being held in the Ward County Jail on a cash or corporate surety bond of $500,000.
