The North Dakota Children’s Cabinet is scheduled to visit 11 North Dakota cities from Oct. 2-8, including Williston, Minot, Rugby and Devils Lake to share its annual report, according to the Office of the Governor.

On Tuesday, Oct. 6, the "road show" will be in Williston at the Williston Community Library from 8:30-10:30 a.m., followed by the Minot Area Workforce Academy, Room 102, in Minot from 2-4 p.m., and Rugby High School Library in Rugby from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The cabinet will visit Devils Lake the following day at the Woodland Resort, Conference Room, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on Oct 7.

"This road show is designed to help ensure transparency, strengthen partnerships and continue building momentum toward a more coordinated and responsive system of care for North Dakota's children and families," said Lt. Gov. Michelle Strinden.

The "road show" has been planned to celebrate the regional success, raise awareness and gather feedback to continue working towards meeting the needs of North Dakota families. According to the Office of the Governor, tribal engagement dates and locations have yet to be determined.

The 2025-2026 annual report was published in August and reported more than 1,000 stakeholders statewide participated in more than 20 in-person community events.

The Children’s Cabinet was established in 2019 through Senate Bill No. 2313 to coordinate services and care for children across government agencies, tribal nations, education, health, human services and juvenile justice systems.
