BISMARCK - The North Dakota Beef Commission (NDBC) is accepting applications from North Dakota FFA juniors and seniors for its Next Generation Beef Producer Pilot Program, designed to develop the next generation of beef producers and introduce students to the different segments of the beef industry.
The program will introduce students to different areas of the beef industry, from cattle production to processing, marketing, genetics and nutrition. Through hands-on experiences and connections with industry professionals, students will gain a broader perspective of the industry.
Students who complete all five steps will be invited to participate in a Beef Producer Signing Day at their school in the spring of 2027. The event will recognize students' accomplishments and give them an opportunity to publicly share their plans for future involvement in the beef industry.
Applications are due Nov. 20. Interested North Dakota FFA juniors and seniors should contact their FFA adviser for program information and application details.
