Two injured in motorcycle-van crash

WILLISTON - Two individuals were injured in a motorcycle-van crash in Williston Sunday, Sept. 20.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 8:27 p.m., a 2025 Kawasaki EX500 sport bike was traveling north on Second Avenue West in Williston at a high rate of speed. A 2013 Chrysler Town & Country minivan was stopped for a red light at the intersection of Second Avenue West and 42nd Street West. The sport bike struck the rear of the van.

The sport bike driver, a 16-year-old male from Alamo, sustained serious, life-threatening injuries and was later flown to a Fargo hospital. The driver of the van, a 42-year-old male from Williston, sustained minor injuries and was transported to a Williston hospital.

The crash remains under investigation by Highway Patrol.
